Hi Music Lovers!

Hi, my name is Loren.  This is my blog about music and how it has been a part of my entire life.  Here is just a short history about myself.

I was born into a musical family.  My father was a professional musician and teacher.  He played almost every wind instrument made, along with the piano.  He was also a composer and had his own band in the 1930’s.  He also played different instruments in a variety of Big Band movies that were being filmed.  My mother played the violin, and my siblings played the trumpet and accordion.  Myself, I chose to play the Saxophone.

I enjoy all kinds of music, although two of my absolute favorites are Classical and Jazz.  I have a personal collection of music that numbers in the thousands and takes up quite a lot of space in my house.

My intention with this blog is to hopefully meet others like myself and share my music world and yours.  I look forward to hearing from you.  Until then, enjoy the music.
