I had trouble meeting people in Portland, Oregon?
The end of July, I am really considering to Portland, Oregon. I am a 27 Year-old male college. In the Los Angeles area, I have trouble meeting girls and friends. The people here in LA are very judgmental. Portland I have the same problem? I am different than most people. I do not drink, smoke or take drugs. I have no tatoos and I do not like tattoos. My interests are classical music and Smooth Jazz. Bars and noisy places do not make to me. I like hiking, coffee houses, restaurants, and shops Museam. Here is a link to my myspace page. You can learn more about me. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=2809508 I pan in Southwest Portland and Beaverton Hillsadle live on the highway near the Albertsons. Would that be a good location for a single person who is 27?
Although it is one quarter of older people, it is regarded as a safe and stable place to live. Since you mentioned that you could be in coffee houses and jazz You be interested in the Hawthorne District. It is close in SE Portland. It has a bohemian feel, with many young people or hang out. There are antique shops and collectors, There is an old Neighborhood theater. I have read many good references from YA had that really like the area. I have a good website on it, with several links you can check out and learn more out. And then you will be a bet-ter idea. I browse through them all the shops and saw what looked like two and three from brick blgs. And an old 40's feel for the area. Here is the link: www.bootsnall.com / name rica travel guides / pdx / todo.shtml To learn more, just google, Hawthorne District, Portland, Oregon, and see what you get can. You can tell that this is the area you would end the search for entertainment in the music. You enjoy most of the downtown restaurants, higher end with even higher pricing. The more commercially distributed in the suburbs. There are several chains represented. And you'll take a good burger at Burger Ville chain of Find Fast Food, based in Vancouver. They have a very popular "store" in Beaverton. If you want cheap goods, you may need to look from the city center. While there are a large business or goodwill to the SE side, on the same side of the river, and they get a lot of new shop donations. But you must be ready to browse the shelves to find them. That is their biggest store in the valley, and they have more stock than anyone else. They even have a cafeteria at the back. And they're the only one to have this feature. It's a nice brick building, just a few years old. Portland has a few museums. And it is a great in Oregon City that the end of the road, on the Oregon Trail Museum is based. They also have a free trolley tour of Oregon City that you will be around some of the historic buildings that have survived can be seen. I wanted to take the tour by tram, although I have been there. There is also the Pittock Mansion at the top of the Western Hills near the Portland Zoo. It is a testiment to the life of the first owner of the Oregonian newspaper. And the rooms are decorated in grande style. It gives an excellent view of Mt Hood and Portland in the distance the backyard. There is also a shed that they made into a tea room or small restaurant. And for the music that we have the Portland Symphony Orchestra and special from time to Time. It seems everything you need. All you have to do now, to find the special place where you can use your wallet. And maybe hang the umbrella. Perhaps only a must if you all is to walk in the autumn and winter is not planned.
