music appreciation project

How to package music in a Powerpoint.?
I am working on a project for my music appreciation class and I would like to include music in the background of the presentation. I know how to include music in the Powerpoint but whenever I get to emailing it, the recipient can’t here the music.
I am currently using MS Office XP, I can use Office 2003 if it only works for the later versions to include music.
Please help me figure out how to include music in the powerpoint that can be opened and heard on a different computer after being sent through email.
The reason is that:
Sound files in wav format larger than 100 KB (i.e. anything but a short sound effect) and other file formats are linked to PowerPoint presentation, when you Email the PowerPoint presentation, the linked music will not be shown.
The differences between embed and link, please view:

Solution:
1. Put the sound files and the PowerPoint presentation in a same folder.
2. Reinsert the sound file to the PowerPoint presentation.
3. Package the entire folder into one archive file and send it to others. Do not create self-extracting (SFX) archive since most email block EXE files by default. WinZip and WinRAR are both recommended to archive your presentation files for emailing perfectly.
