do i have to have a subsciption to yahoo music unlimited to hear the music i purchased?

the freakin thing keeps saying the playback engine has encountered a problem. then i little pop-up comes and says i have to renew my subscription to yahoo music unlimited! what should i do?

If you purchased individual tracks at 79 cents or 99 cents eash, you should NOT have to have an active YMU subscription to listen to those tracks. That’s why they cost what they do. If you are seeing the message on those purchased tracks, that is a problem.

However, if you are referring to music you downloaded or bookmarked while being a YMU subscriber (not the 79 or 99 cent tracks), then yes, you do have to have an active YMU subscription in order to continue to be able to listen to the music. That is what the YMU subscription is for, primarily. In effect, you are renting the music you like for the duration of the subscription.
