How do you (personally) write music lyrics?

I had an epiphany the other day about a song I should write. I want it to be a mix of rock, pop, and techno (think stefy, the veronicas, etc), but I can’t get my ideas in order. Like, I have phrases, concepts, & part of a chorus, but it’s all in fragments. How do you get it in order? And where (besides rhymezone.com and dictionary.com) do you find amazing, inspiring vocabulary (I am all about big, specific, connotative words) to include?

1, you could make it almost a story line
ex. break up, i dont like you, just friends. i love you

2. put them in random order then move them until it sounds good.

3. make them enter in the order that they happend.

ex. getting together, thoughts of break up, back together, break up.

remember its not about what words you use… its how you use them.
